The James David Ross Family Recreation Center is a new athletic facility totaling 30,000 square feet that will serve the entire Washington & Jefferson College campus community. The second phase of the three-phase project was due to open in January 2017, with the beginning of Phase 3 to follow shortly after. In totality, the new facility will contain space for three indoor track lanes, three indoor multi-sport courts, practice pool, yoga and exercise rooms, batting cages, a pole-vault pen, and several other improvements that will be part of later phases of the project.
