Located in the Beaumeade Technology Park north of Dulles Airport, this fast-track, ten-month project added 25,000 SF and 5 MW to an existing 75,000 SF warehouse, the next phase of a series of projects for Equinix. The modified design/build concept included the Installation of 2 miles of fiber, wire, and utility infrastructure 6 feet under the existing building’s slab, while propping the existing building up with temporary columns. TRINITY coordinated various installations of fiber optic duct banks and raceways capable of supporting 13 separate fiber optic network providers.
