2701 Prosperity Avenue Awarded LEED Silver Certification

FALLS CHURCH, VA - 2701 Prosperity Avenue in Fairfax, Virginia has received LEED Silver certification from the U.S. Green Building Council.

Owned and managed by PS Business Parks and designed by DVA Architects, this four-story, 60,000 square foot, Class A building underwent extensive renovations to achieve LEED status.  TRINITY Group Construction, Inc. completed this $2.5 million project in 7 months which included a complete interior demolition (much of which was comprised of SCIF space), new high efficiency HVAC system, two new elevators, demolition of the existing entrance feature and the construction of a new expanded main lobby with vestibule and entrance canopy, new elevator lobbies and core spaces, construction of approximately 30,000 square feet of speculative office space, and mill and overlay of the existing parking area to meet ADA requirements.
